Kentucky Butter Cake

°1 c soft butter

°2 c sugar

°4 eggs

°2 tsp vanilla extract

° 3 Multipurpose Precision Cups

° 1 teaspoon baking powder

° 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

° 1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter milk

+ Butter sauce:

1 cup sugar

° 1/2 cup butter cut into cubes

° 1/4 cup water

° 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


In a bowl, grease the butter and sugar until light and thin. Add eggs, one by one, hit well after each addition. Beating in vanilla. Blend flour, baking powder and baking soda also salt; Add to the cream mixture alternately with the curd, beating well after each addition.

Pour into a 10-inch greased and flour-coated frying pan. Tube mold. Baking at 350 degrees, 55-70 minutes. Cool 10 mn. Fill a knife around the edges and central tube of the mold. Mirrored cake on a rack over tarpaulin paper.

For  sauce, combined sugar, butter and water in  saucepan. Cooking over medium heat to butter is melted & sugar is dissolved. Remove from fire; Consolidate excerpts.

Poke holes over hot cake; Pour 1/4 cup sauce on the cake. Let it stand until you absorb the sauce.
