Two is company and three is a party.
A group from northern Colorado talks about the benefits of a three-person romance, claiming it’s not much different from a “traditional monogamous” relationship.
Alana, Kevin and Megan have been together for two years and do everything together, from triple-spooning to going on dates and adventurous outings. Despite what some may assume about having multiple romantic partners, they claim they don’t get jealous.
“We all sleep together, in a king size bed, and we often take turns or take turns sleeping with each other every night. We have intimate moments one-on-one, but also all together, we don’t get jealous of each other,” Alana, who owns an online boutique, told NeedToKnowOnline.
“In fact, we don’t experience any jealousy in our relationship at all. We just all do our best to give each partner equal attention.”

The polyamorous partnership began after Alana, who is bisexual, asked Kevin, a product manager, to sign up for a dating app called 3Fun so she could explore her sexuality. Alana and Kevin, who have been together since 2017, were originally just “looking for something fun” when they met Megan, an operations manager. Now their relationship is three times as fun.
The fun-loving trio says their relationship is typical in most ways, except it comes with more responsibility and “double the love and support,” Alana explained.
“The main difference is just that you have an extra partner whom you love and care for, and whose feelings you have to take into account,” said Alana.
“Plus, for me and Megan, we are both bisexual, so this relationship dynamic allows us to fully experience both of our sexual preferences. We all live together; Megan moved within a year of us dating!
Alana said the only negative about having an extra person is that it takes three times as long to decide “what to eat and watch.”
The trio regularly posts beloved content to their TikTok account @campthrouple, where a recent clip titled “A Day in the Throuple Life” has been viewed more than 4 million times.

The clip begins with Alana, Megan, and Kevin cuddling in bed together, followed by a full day of activities such as grabbing coffee, eating Megan’s homemade breakfast, going to the gym, watching a sports game, and ending the day against a Harry Potter movie.
“We are three hardcore cuddlers. We’re going down,” says Kevin in the clip, which has received more than 300,000 likes.
The trio say their friends and families are supportive of their alternative relationship, along with their many social media fans who comment on their content.

“The response has been mostly positive and we’ve had a lot of people reach out to us asking for our advice because they’re interested in this type of relationship or because they’re also figuring out their sexuality,” Alana revealed.
“You guys are amazing,” Olivia wrote on a video.
“Best troupe ever!!” Shelly said.
Although, the love triangle still encounters some squares who do not approve of their being together.
“I’m sorry,” Louise wrote at the bottom of a TikTok video.
“This should end very well,” Osirk wrote.
“Usually people disapprove of it because of religious beliefs. We understand that everyone has their own belief system and journey in life, so even with the negativity we always try to meet it with love and we don’t let it affect how we act or react,” Alana explained.
The group plans to deepen their relationship and eventually buy a house and some land so they can grow their own food, care for animals and build a community.
“Because we love camping, we would also like to have our own campsite where we can organize events,” says Alana.
And in the meantime, they keep doing what they love to do.
“We like to go to the movies, we like to eat out and we like to try new places. Our favorite thing to do all together is explore nature! We will spend days driving around the mountains, finding new lakes and streams, fishing and sometimes hiking,” said Alana.
